Course Discontinued and Replaced

The Financial Analysis Systems Certificate (FAS) course has been discontinued and replaced by the Financial Analysis VBA Certificate (FAVC).

The courses are very similar in structure, and cover similar knowledge areas and past participants in the FAS meet pre-requisite requirements that require completion of the FAVC. Under our course do-over policy, past participants of the FAS may attend one or more days of the FAVC. We will impose the room hire and catering fee, and provide new materials to assist in their studies. They are advised to contact us to discuss which days align with the material previously covered and which days contain new or modified material.

One reason for the renaming of the courses is that some participants have mistaken the Financial Analysis Systems Certificate for the Financial Analysis Certificate and we hope the inclusion of "VBA" in the course title will solve this issue. It also provides an opportunity to re-design and re-focus the course, so the small break in the course titling aids in distinguishing the syllabi.
