Function Reference: LOWER, PROPER, UPPER

| Purpose / Description | ||
| Each of these functions returns a text string in which all the characters from the original string have been converted to a new case — all lower case (LOWER), all upper case (UPPER), all lower case, except for the first letter of each word which is in upper case (PROPER) | ||

| text string | The converted text string, in which the characters have been converted based on the rule for the selected function. | |
| error | Any errors referenced by arguments are returned due to propagation of error values. | |

| Note: | As all values types, except errors, can be coerced to test strings, all values passed in are coerced to text string if required, before the case conversion is carried-out. | |
