Our classroom courses are conducted in suitable conference facilities, and in the case of UTS courses, many are conducted on campus, although Sydney CBD locations also sometimes used.

For publicly offered courses, the training provider covers the following as part of the course fee:

• Suitable training room or conference venue with comfortable seating and desk for each attendee;
• Course materials, downloadable files, login to support site;
• Catering, including catering for allergy and reasonable dietary requirements.
• There is limited availability of loaner laptops, suitably configured, by prior arrangement, and may be subject to small charge.

The participant should provide:

• Their own laptop, with properly updated software - see software requirements below;
• For courses on UTS campus, the participant may like to bring a capped drinking bottle, glasses and mugs are not allowed in the rooms;
• Writing and note-taking materials, including highlighters if part of your learning style;

Software Requirements, by course:

• For the Financial Analysis Certificate, a recent and fully-updated version of Microsoft Excel, and Office 365 version is best. Note that some features presented are not supported in the Mac versions of the product, but most content can be worked on the Mac.
• For the Financial Analysis VBA Certificate, a recent and fully-updated version of Microsoft Excel, and Office 365 version is best. Note that some features presented are not supported in the Mac versions of the product, but most content can be worked on the Mac
• For the Power BI Series, a recent and fully-updated version of Microsoft Excel from Office 365 for Windows.  Some features are not supported by older versions of Excel or the Mac and a whilst it is possible to attend, the learning will be compromised without the latest versions of Excel running on the Windows desktop; In addition, the user should have the Power BI Desktop installed on their system.
• For the lecture-only modules of the Key Topic Lecture Series, no laptop or software is required.
• For the hands-on modules of the Key Topic Lecture Series, a recent and fully updated version of Excel is required, most sessions are compatible with the Mac unless identified in course description.

Classroom training can be provided in-house for clients who wish to provide the training to a cohort of their staff and/or clients.

For in-house face-to-face courses, the training provider covers the following as part of the course fee:

• Course materials, downloadable files, login to support site;

The enterprise making the booking should provide:

• A suitable training facility with space to accommodate all the participants comfortable with desk space for their laptop and space to make notes.  Boardrooms are acceptable if large enough and special training rooms are not available.
• Catering if desired to ensure participants aren't delayed in finding meals and to enable nreaks to be kept reasonably tight.
• Conferencing facilities if any of the participants will dial-in from a remote location or are quarantined for Covid.

Our online courses are conducted using Teams or Zoom and allow attendance by participants from anywhere on the globe.  They are also available for in-house presentation for those wishing to provide the training to a cohort of their staff and/or clients who are not located in a single location.

To get the best from this training mode, each session is kept to 3½ hours to avoid screen fatigue. In addition, with more than thirty years' experience, we are well aware of the issues with this training mode, and actively work to engage with participants and provide extra time to handle questions one-on-one as well as in class.

We have developed an approach that allows us to provide as close an experience to the classroom as possible.

• Online sessions, as scheduled via Teams or Zoom;
• Course materials, downloadable files, login to support site.

The participant should provide:

• Their own computer, with properly updated software - see software requirements below;
• Internet connection suitable for video sharing of facilitator's and participant's screen;
• Participants are expected to be camera on during the course sessions, microphone off unless engaged in asking a question or seeking support.  The camera may be switched off for short periods of time for privacy, but we expect all participants to be generally available on camera.  This builds a better virtual classroom experience for all.

The distance learning offering for the Financial Analysis certificate allows for self-paced remote study without the need to attend online or classroom sessions.  This form of study can be challenging, and will need usually a regular schedule of study spread over between three and nine months.  Feedback from past students indicate they invest between 45 and 80 hours to complete the course.  This is dependent upon their prior experience and how smoothly their study progresses.

• Educational and administrative support, review of submitted exercises, including feedback and guidance.

The participant should provide:
